U10 & U12 Lions ready to pounce!

New program aims to create dynamic minor rugby experience for new and returning players.
The Mississauga Blues RFC are proud to announce a significant partnership with Brampton Beavers RFC that has led to creation of Lions Minor Rugby. The Lions will field sides in both the U10 and U12 age divisions. Training will remain of Friday nights and rotate weekly between Streetsville Secondary School and Bishop Redding Secondary School (Milton).
In the past both clubs have faced significant challenges related to playing numbers and administration of their minor programs. The creation of the Lions will remove both barriers to growth.
The Blues are also excited to introduce Trish Rea as the new Minor Rugby Coordinator. Trish has extensive experience in the game both as a player and coach. Currently she is a teacher at Streetsville Secondary School and co-Head Coach of the Streetsville Girls Rugby program.
